Final Event: ‘The Face Behind Activism’

The project’s final exploitation seminar took place on October 30th, 2025, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The event gathered a vibrant mix of youth workers, educators, stakeholders, and young people—both active and just starting their activist journeys.

Highlights included inspiring talks by guest speakers: Gert-Jan Verboom (Intersections) and Tevin Blancheville (Konose), who shared their powerful stories and personal experiences of activism in action.

The event also marked the opening of the moving exhibition “The Face Behind Activism”, featuring portraits and stories of activists selected during the project.

Kick-off meeting in Trnava, Slovakia

In the beginning of March 2024, the project partners gathered in beautiful Trnava to discuss and agree on the tasks for each project activity. The management plan and the dissemination strategy, including the logo of the project, were presented and received with enthusiasm by everyone. Later on, the partners talked about the first steps – taking interviews from activists to hear and record their inspiring stories and starting the work on AIA Guide.
